An “eco-mochila” is a traditional bag used in Colombia that is hand-crocheted by women in the village of Los Limites near Proyecto Tití’s field site in Santa Catalina, Colombia. It is hand-made and created entirely from recycled plastic bags. By purchasing one of our eco-mochilas, you are helping the community of Los Limites generate income that helps support their families while reducing their dependency on forest resources

Made from recycled plastic bags. Easily cleaned with soap and water. Durable and water resistant.
Color Availability: We will do our best to accommodate your color preference request, however, please note that color availability is dependent on plastic bag color availability.
Number of Bags: Each round eco-mochila is made up of 100 recycled plastic bags.
Shipping Outside of the U.S.: Please note that orders shipped outside of the United States will have shipping calculated separately.
