What began as a final push quickly turned into a powerful reminder of what is possible when people come together for conservation. Because of you, we can move forward with confidence—ready to protect existing forests, connect fragmented habitat, and restore degraded land to create more forest for the critically endangered cotton-top tamarin and Colombia’s tropical dry forest, one of the most threatened ecosystems on Earth.

As you’ve seen in the photos we shared, restoration here happens quickly. In just five years, certain species of trees planted through Proyecto Tití’s forest conservation program have grown to more than 15 feet tall, and many are already producing fruit. These fast-growing forests are transforming the landscape—providing food, shelter, and safe passage for wildlife, while delivering real benefits to the local communities who steward this land.

Because of your support, planting can begin as planned in the new year. Sixty thousand trees will soon be taking root, helping ensure a healthier, more connected forest and a stronger future for cotton-top tamarins and the people who live alongside them.
